Kathleen completed her 3 year training at the College of Traditional Acupuncture UK in 1994 with Professor JR Worsley one of the first pioneers of acupuncture in Europe .
Ever since then her love for Chinese medicine kept her learning . Achieving postgraduate certification in TCM at CICM Reading The integrated College of Acupuncture in 1996. Kathleen then went to China for the first time to enhance her Clinical Studies in China at the Zhejiang TCM hospital university in Hanzhou China in 1999 .
Kathleen was invited as a delegate for the BAcC to the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in Harbin China in 2018 . Kathleen is qualified in Chinese Herbal prescriptions her certifications over a 3 year postgraduate program with Professor Shulan Tang achieving a master in 2004 .
Kathleen is trained Tuina a Chinese form of massage which can be used alongside acupuncture or on its own merit.
Kathleen is a certified instructor of the ancient art of Qigong pronounced Chigung these are healing exercises & instruction on how to self heal through movement this helps to give her patients independence and a newly found strength and confidence in their overall wellbeing. She has maintained a loyal student of Grandmaster Tse since 1995 and she continues to study Chinese skills under his guidance .
Kathleen is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and is a regional group co-ordinator for the BAcC region Warwickshire .
Kathleen is a certified Qigong Instructor and member of the Tse Qigong centre. She currently works from her own clinic in Leamington Spa.
Kathleen has added to her skills by completing a full postgraduate diploma course in paediatric acupuncture with Julian Scott in association with CICM qualifying in 2013. She has received two post graduate certificates in Japanese non-needle technique, Koshishi-kyu moxa therapy 2017 and Korean auricular therapy 2015 . She is confident about treating children and adults with acupuncture and all the non needle techniques that are available with 30 years plus experience in clinic , non needle techniques are always available to all .
